The cooperation network of the Agency is as broad as its clientele. The main partners in the work are the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment and municipal business authorities, who manage the practical advice to the customers. The Agency operates under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

The Agency has close cooperation with the Provincial Government of Åland, action groups implementing the rural development programmes, Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira, Finnish Customs, Farmers' Social Insurance Institution Mela, other paying agencies, and the European Commission. The cooperation partners also include producer organisations and financial institutions.
