The European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) were founded in order to finance EU’s common agricultural policy (CAP). The aim of the CAP is to develop the community’s agricultural production in a balanced way, taking into consideration the welfare of environment and animals as well as promoting vitality of rural areas.
Both fully and partly EU funded aid is paid from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAFG); the EAFRD aid is partly funded by the EU. The aid sums given in the search facility include both the EU and the national contributions if the aid in question is partly financed by the EU.
