Each year various organisations deliver foodstuffs to the deprived persons in the Community. Agricultural products from the intervention stocks are used to purchase the foodstuffs on the basis of a competitive tendering procedure. Product range depends on the products available in the intervention stocks. In Finland the food aid is administered by the Intervention Unit of the Agency for Rural Affairs.
